Krishna Yarlagadda joined Smartron as an investor and strategic advisor on 20th March 2017. As a strategic advisor, Krishna will mentor the Chairman and the Board of the Company in building Smartron into a global brand. With an illustrious career spanning 20 years across computing, communication & connectivity technologies, his experience as a strategic advisor, would add to the team’s strength as it continues to invest and work towards making Smartron a successful brand to be reckoned with globally.

Krishna currently serves as a senior advisor to Riverwood Capital, WRV and IvyCap Ventures. He was the President of Imagination Technologies Inc. until November 2016. Prior to this, Krishna served as the CEO of Hellosoft, before Imagination Technologies acquired it in 2010. And before that, as Chairman, President & CEO of ZSP (acquired by LSI Logic), he pioneered the development of DSP based on RISC technology that has been adopted by major semiconductor and system vendors and deployed in billions of devices. Krishna has been recognized as a “Technology Pioneer” by the World Economic Forum in Davos. A seasoned entrepreneur, Krishna has also been involved with several successful companies as investor/advisor/board member including Silicon Spice (acquired by Broadcom), Pequre (became ServerWorks acquired by Broadcom), vEngines (acquired by Centillium), nBand (acquired by Proxim), Chiplogic (acquired by ADI), Intoto (acquired by Freescale), Valyd (acquired by EMC), Posedge (acquired by Imagination), Vivu (acquired by Polycom), Soft Machines (acquired by Intel), eSilicon, Invecas, Nod, Ineda, Innovium, Fungible and NetSpeed Systems.

Richard Wirt, M.S., Ph.D., a senior technology executive with 35 years of experience in the computer industry, was Vice President and General Manager of Intel Corporation’s Software and Solutions Group. He developed and nurtured the Intel software group from when he founded it in 1982 to a 3000 person worldwide operation in 2007. Working closely with Intel Capital, Dr. Wirt made many successful worldwide investments including 10 large acquisitions of software companies. Operating at the highest executive level, Dr. Wirt worked with Intel industry partners such as Microsoft, Dell, Oracle, HP, IBM, NEC, Fujitsu, Redhat, and many others, building ecosystems to grow Intel’s processors’ market while maintaining more than 85% market share. In 2007 Dr. Wirt also served as Chief Scientist and Executive Vice President at In-Q-Tel, a technology investment group that supports the U.S. government.

Arif Maskatia,former CTO at Acer, has over 40 years of advanced systems architecture design and product development and manufacturing expertise. He has excellent and respectful relationships with all world class Taiwanese ODMs and Silicon Valley technology partners. He is currently advising multinational companies and early to mid-stage startups to refine product roadmaps, identify important technologies and trends, new technology productization and bringing new products to market in volume manufacturing.

Arif is an industry-recognized expert who developed the industry's first IBM compatible PC in 1983, which got Multitech (now Acer Inc.) and MiTAC International started in the PC business and gave birth to Taiwan's ODM industry. He developed the first MS DOS Pocket Computer. He led Acer's engineering team in Silicon Valley to architect and develop the industry's first award winning Pentium class notebook computer (AcerNote Nuovo, TravelMate Series) which broke through 10+ hour battery life for a full day’s work with single battery, followed by the first fingerprint sensor secure PC. During his career at Acer, he made alliances with technology partners to bring many exciting products to market, such as with Microsoft the first Convertible Tablet PC, the first Qualcomm Snapdragon-based Android Smart Phone, the NVidia T3 based 10” Android OS based Tablet, and the first Google Chrome OS based Chromebook. He has received many corporate awards and industry recognitions, including over 25 US patents. As a technology executive with a creative vision, Arif brought engineering ‘know-how’ and created innovative organizations and solutions. What excites Arif is the fast growth in Mobile/IoT/AI technologies, which creates challenges, innovation, and new business opportunities. He received Bachelors and Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University in Ithaca NY in 1972 and 1973 respectively. He serves as a Board Member and Executive Technical Advisor of high tech companies.

Larry M. Paulson has served as our Chief Executive Officer and a member of our board of directors of Novus Capital Corporation.

He has also served as principal and founder of Rancho Santa Fe Solutions, a wireless industry consulting company he founded in February 2010. From 2013 to January 2020, Mr. Paulson was with Qualcomm (Nasdaq:QCOM) where he served as Vice President of Product Management (2013-16), Vice President and President India and SAARC (2016-2018) and Vice President Sales NA and Australia (2018-Jan 2020). Prior to Qualcomm, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing officer of Brightpoint, Inc., a provider of worldwide distribution and integrated logistics services to the wireless communications industry, from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that he served with Nokia (NYSE:NOK) from 1987 to 2010 where he had numerous roles including global Senior Vice President and General Manager CDMA Product line. Mr. Paulson holds a BA in Communications from Point Park University. We believe Mr. Paulson is well-qualified to serve on our board of directors because of his more than thirty years of global senior management positions in the tech industry with expertise in wireless communications.

Chris Tubis is a forward-thinking Senior Executive and Consultant with more than 40 years of success spanning communications, telecom, and semiconductor technology. Leveraging extensive experience in innovative leadership for a wide variety of tech start-ups and respected organizations worldwide, Chris is a valuable asset for companies requiring expert assistance with early-stage development and funding, product development and design, manufacturing, or understanding markets World Wide. His broad areas of expertise include wireless communication, milimeter wave Integrated Circuit (mmWave) design, project planning and management, business expansion, solar technology and other renewable energy programs.

Since 2006, Chris has led global firm Tubis Consulting as its CEO and Principal Researcher, growing the company to $5 million per year and specializing in technology, manufacturing, and wireless communications. He has worked on various projects for the US Space industry, Europe and the Middle East, including a solar manufacturing plant design and semiconductor technology transfer, and was responsible for the design of the world’s first large scale, solar-powered desalination plant. Tubis Consulting works closely with various private, government, and academic organizations such as the MIT Engineering Systems Division, National Taiwan University, and King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology. Chris is also the CEO of Tubis Technology, Inc., a start-up for 5G wireless tech company founded in 2015 and based in Pasadena and sold to Kyocera in 2020. Prior to this, he served as the CEO of RTX Denmark, a provider of design services for cordless, cellular phone, and wireless medical device design.

Educated in the UK, Chris holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Communications. He has recently held board positions with Soft Machines, Inc., and Carbonics, Inc.
