Nearly a decade before every device maker began talking about an intelligence layer, Smartron unveiled tronX — announced at the time as a first-of-its-kind AI-powered IoT platform.
It was never meant to sit on one product. tronX ran underneath the phones, the band and the home, and was opened to other makers under a “powered by tronX” programme: one account, one app, one layer of intelligence across everything on the shelf.

The laptop first, then the flagship phone — launched in Hyderabad in May with Sachin Tendulkar and Telangana’s IT minister on stage.
The srt·phone and its Signature Sachin edition ship, Smartron becomes the design and engineering partner for Flipkart’s Billion Capture+, and tronX is unveiled. A mesh-networking partnership with Qualcomm Technologies follows.
A 5000mAh phone for everyone else; the first smart band to carry ECG and blood-pressure monitoring; and India’s first smart crossover electric bike — among the first to drive two-wheeler electric mobility with its own designs and the tronX platform.
